From James Carlson: "In this article, we discuss outlines, like the ones we compose before writing an article or speech, hierarchical lists, rose trees, and zippers, where the last three are data structures used in computer science."
Tools and Projects
elm/browser 1.0.2 was released this week with many improvements to the debugger. Now it has resizable history, a nicer timeline, a visual refresh, and better performance for games.
Mark Bolusmjak released a new package to compute the similarity of two strings using the Jaro-Winkler algorithm, useful to see if strings are similar according to the types of errors humans typically make in data entry.
