Elm Weekly - Issue #83
This week: colorful data modeling and guitar-playing with guest curator Tessa Kelly!
Tools and Projects
Use Tereza Sokol's line-charts library to communicate information gorgeously and clearly!
rtfeldman/elm-sorter-experiment
If you're willing to use an experimental package, rtfeldman/elm-sorter-experiment is the one you want to pick. This library facilitates using opaque types as keys in a dict or as members of set, freeing you to model your data how you'd like to.
Personal plug: use tesk9/palette to model and modify colors, and to generate beautiful color palettes.
Talks
For a fun talk that will inspire you to take up the guitar, learn how to read tabs, ditch regular expressions for elm/parser, and switch to (or improve at) vim, watch Ju Liu's "Do Parsers dream of Electric Guitars" from Oslo Elm Day 2019.
