Elm Weekly - Issue #118
This week: 3D scene rendering, UI prototyping, account management with Elm & Meteor, and explorations of type safety and going beyond the intended Elm use cases.
Articles and Discussion
Anthonny Quérouil shows how to implement account management in an Elm/Meteor application.
In this episode, Dillon and Jeroen discuss what Elm is intended for, techniques for going beyond that, and how to make tools nice to use when you do.
Tools and Projects
Ian Mackenzie has produced a monumental new package release (three years in development!). It's worth checking out just for the documentation that really sets the bar, but of course there is also a great API for rendering 3D scenes with WebGL.
Theo Kalumbu has published a new version of elm-ui-explorer, a tool for exploring and prototyping UIs. New features include a CLI for creating explorations, interactive controls for modifying aspects of a UI, responsive layout, and dark mode. Check out the demo links in the announcement to see it in action.
Romāns Potašovs has updated the GitHub Action for Elm setup with support for Win32 Github Action runners.
That's it for this week!
